Do online degrees hold the same value of traditional degrees?

I’m just weighing my options because I want to go back to school for nursing but I’m not familiar with the online universities and colleges but I think online courses would be easier to work into my schedule.

Because more and more large universities offer online degrees, they hold more weight. Just make sure you look at schools that are accredited. If you go for nursing, you have to make a program that is mixed, because some course work must be done on the hands. But there are certainly some great programs out there that allow you to do your basic needs in line and hold the same weight as a regular diploma.

Yes, as long as the school is accredited, so it’s perfect. Whether online or in the works non.Je Emergency Nurses Board and the two senior nurses taking courses online at University of Phoenix (for dual master’s degree in nursing and education) . They are already deeply in the field, so I think that for nursing, you should already have some sort of license to continue your education online.

Probably not — but in any field of nursing degree would get a foot in the door and from there people watching your performance at work – not where you went to school.

Yes they do not all courses can be tracked online. Nursing has many laboratories and practitioners who have to be attended. I understand the full schedule thing, I do the same thing. Try to get as many grants as you can and reduce your hours so you can get more with the school.

Many schools offer online programs DO. However, given your area of interest requires much more laboratory work (ie with humans) you will most likely enroll in a program where classes, seminars, etc. are available online, but you must complete the laboratory work in a real lab. Good luck!
