How are online degrees looked upon in the business world? Would it be less credible than a traditional degree?

i am pursuing my MBA in accounting online and was wondering if and when i go job hunting how employers look at these degrees. are they looked upon with the same respect as traditional college degrees?

I am sure both are looked on the same, prehaps an MBA is better as it shows you have managed a huge workload, ie work and study.
I have just graduated, and moved into a different sector, but am looking to do an online course as well, maybe a masters, and would reccomend it highly.

I think it depends on the school.
I am willing to believe an online degree from say University of Illinois is equivalent to its traditional degree. But an online degree from a school that only does online, I would be skeptical of.
I have taken some online courses, and they can certainly be rigorous.

It TOTALLY depends upon the university that you are attending. Your degree will not say online. Some have good reputations- some are garbage.

If you attend an accredited university online, no one will be able to tell by your degree that you got it online – it’s exactly the same.
