Do employers frown upon online degrees or are they just as good as an on campus degree?

I am going to get my nursing degree at a college that i have to go to class everyday but im thinking about getting my associates in psychology online in the meantime until i can finish my nursing degree. Do employers mind that you got a degree online??

I feel they would pick somebody that went to college over a person who did online. I was doing the universty of phoniex but was kinda scared what employers would think so now im about to start going to University of Houston downtown to keep it on the safe side plus those online schools cost to much

As long as the college (online or campus based) is regionally accredited, any degree you earn should be accepted by any potential employers or other academic institutions.
My best recommendation would be to contact a number of colleges to find the best fit for you and your needs (tuition, schedule, career opportunities, etc.). Too often people enroll in the first school they find rather than taking the time to find the best school for them. Taking that time now could save you a lot of time, money and frustration if you choose the wrong school.
This site has some good info on regionally accredited online associate degrees in psychology and some colleges that offer them to help expand your search:

I think you can enter your info on there for any colleges you are interested in and they will send you more info for free. Good Luck!

Each school has its own rules about it. You can compare their rules and students feedback here – education.mypressonline.com
